Most people would consider that, being a designer and stylist, my house looks amazing all the time. It doesn't. It's kind of like that thing where builders never finish their own extensions, and cobblers have holes in their shoes. I've been so busy making other people's house's look amazing, that mine is feeling a bit neglected.
SO, I've decided to commit to 2016 being the year of #myinteriormakeover. I know I'm too busy to do a full re-design (and frankly not rich enough), so I'm going to complete a series of mini makeovers to spruce up the house. It's all about picking the right things to change.
I've started at the beginning. With the front door. It's the first thing you see on arrive at the house. A new collection of door furniture is a marvelous way to put you in a good mood on arriving home.
I went for the best, of course. When it comes to security, there really is only one choice - it has to be Banham. I found out about their new range of finishes, and was immediately sold on the various metallic finishes. I went for copper. I know it's been around for ages as a trend but I still love it. What do you think?
More from #myinteriormakeover soon!
