Barber Wilson make taps. Taps so good that they are suppliers by royal appointment for all the royal households, and have been so for 80 years. In fact Edward VIII first chose Barber Wilson for his faucets. That's one loyal family client. Although not surprising given the quality. Looking through the brochure, I pondered over which taps I would have if I was Queen. No contest really for me.

Gold taps - COME ON you know you would!

I recently met Sarah, an English lady in New York, and the Barber Wilson lady with all the inside info on the Queen & her bathing habits. Despite my best efforts, she would not give away the Queen's current choice of taps, although she did reveal that Windsor Castle uses the non-lacquered hand polished brass (that should keep the staff busy).

Hmm, surely it's the gold for the Queen... I'm positive there must at least be one downstairs toilet somewhere in Buckingham Palace with gold taps. And a chandelier. And maybe a corgi wallpaper feature wall...
